On Sunday, October 10, the Children’s Defense Fund of Minnesota (CDF-MN) will lead a march and rally at the State Capitol from 2-5pm, urging citizens to vote with children’s issues in mind and reminding policy makers to make children’s needs a priority.

The event will feature a keynote from Garrison Keillor, a press conference, local youth performances, activities for children and families, and discussions with civic leaders and candidates.

At the 10-10-10 event, 10 pressing needs will be specifically addressed:

  4. Healthy Development
  5. Healthy & Stable Housing
  6. Juvenile Justice
  7. K-12 Education
  8. Out-of-School Time
