Art Buddies Mentoring Brings Out the Wimsy in Kids!

Star Tribune business columnist, Neil St. Anthony features mentoring program founder Sue Crolick, a former art director in the Twin Cities. 15 years ago Crolick founded a mentoring program by the name of “Art Buddies,” which has helped develop and inspire many children from poor families in south Minneapolis. Her focus has been on the Whittier school district and park complex, paring 40 business professional volunteers with 40 children from the school. Together, the children and mentors work on projects and discuss the importance of school, which has elevated the children’s lives and improved their school performance. To read more, click here.
